Hosted by the IEEE Geoscience and Remote Sensing Society (IEEE GRSS), and in collaboration with the Algerian Space Agency (ASAL), the Mediterranean and Middle-East Geoscience and Remote Sensing Symposium 2024 (M2GARSS 2024) will be held from 15th to 17th of April 2024 in hybrid format: physically at the Centre de Développement des Satellites of ASAL (Oran, Algeria) and virtually via an online platform.
On behalf of the IEEE GRSS and the M2GARSS 2024 Organizing Committee, we invite you to participate in M2GARSS 2024, which will be the 3rd edition of the Mediterranean and Middle-East (M2) regional symposium of the IEEE GRSS and will contribute to gathering M2 and world-class scientists, engineers and educators engaged in the fields of geoscience, remote sensing and related topics. We look forward to meeting you during M2GARSS 2024.
M2GARSS is an M2 regional event of remote sensing. It provides an ideal forum for obtaining up-to-date information about the latest developments, exchanging ideas, identifying future trends and networking within the international geoscience and remote sensing communities. The M2GARSS 2024 technical program will include Oral, Poster and Tutorial Sessions, and will deal with the following general themes:

Accepted papers will be published in the proceedings on IEEE Xplore only if presented at the Symposium by one of the list authors duly registered.

Authors who wish to give a presentation are requested to submit a paper/abstract (minimum of two (2) pages; maximum of five (5) pages). A link to submit the paper will be available on the symposium website on September 17, 2023.
M2GARSS 2024 will honor the outstanding achievements of best oral and poster presentations, and the winners of the 3MT© competition organized in M2GARSS 2024. Scientific committees of experts will select the awardees.
M2GARSS will have the same standard as IGARSS, the IEEE GRSS flagship Symposium, in terms of scientific quality and organization, and with lower registration fees.
